Duties/ Responsibilities |
The professional nursing staff assesses plans and provides professional nursing care in a university ambulatory care center serving over 17,000 patients a year. The health center provides office-based acute care, triages urgent and emergent conditions, provides limited surgical procedures, women's health services, phlebotomy and a pharmacy. |

Minimum/Preferred Qualifications |
Candidate must fill out Civil Service Examination form for this position. The Nurse 1 position must possess a current NYS license, current Infection Control and Basic Life Support certificates and five years of progressive nursing practice. Ambulatory or Urgent Care experience is preferred. This position may be filled from a mandatory reemployment list if one is in effect at the time of the appointment. |
