Duties/ Responsibilities |
The incumbent supervises and conducts financial and operational audits of State and local providers, is the on-site supervisor and provides direction and leadership to other audit staff. The incumbent will work independently on audits and communicate with the auditee to explain audit results. As a supervisor, the incumbent will write audit programs to ensure audit objectives are identified, and there is a step-by-step plan to accomplish those objectives. The incumbent oversees staff work and reviews and approves subordinate workpapers. The incumbent prepares audit reports which can be readily reviewed by the supervisor and explains any technical questions raised by the Audit Manager on the content of the review. Travel is required. |
