Duties/ Responsibilities |
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Clinical Director is responsible for the administration of all clinical programs and for the delivery of all clinical services including psychiatric, medical and medical/ancillary services by psychiatric and medical staff and consultants. The Clinical Director works with the Executive Cabinet, clinical and medical staff to ensure the facility is in compliance with all external and Office of Mental Health (OMH) standards, rules and regulations. The Clinical Director has primary responsibility for developing, updating and implementing facility-wide clinical policies and procedures in accordance with standards of the Office of Mental Health, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, The Joint Commission and other external accrediting bodies. |

Minimum/Preferred Qualifications |
Board Certification in Psychiatry issued by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or clearly equivalent certifying body; and |

Elmira Psychiatric Center (EPC), located in the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes Regions of Upstate New York, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Clinical Director, Psychiatric Center. Elmira Psychiatric Center is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). With approximately 100 inpatient beds and approximately 1,000 outpatient clients throughout their ten county catchment area, EPC provides a wide array of Adult and Children's psychiatric services, both inpatient and community-centered. |
