Duties/ Responsibilities |
The Psychiatrist 2 position will be comprised of two half-time assignments: half-time as Director of the Bureau of Psychiatric Services and Research Institute Support and half-time as a Psychiatrist delivering clinical services in the Albany Medical Center Hospital Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic. As Bureau Director, the incumbent will have statewide responsibility for making decisions concerning programmatic and operational issues. |

Minimum/Preferred Qualifications |
The minimum qualifications for the Psychiatrist 2, Grade 38, are possession of a license to practice medicine in New York State OR possession of a limited permit and licensure in another state or by written examination in Canada; AND certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology; AND eligibility for full and unconditional participation in Medicaid and Medicare programs. |
