Duties/ Responsibilities |
As a Secretary 1 you would be responsible for providing administrative support in an office. You would establish and implement procedures to maintain an efficient work flow; relieve an official of a variety of routine office details; and perform responsible clerical work. You would spend up to 50 percent of your work time operating equipment which requires the manipulation of a standard alphanumeric keyboard. You would also screen and refer |

Minimum/Preferred Qualifications |
An employee with one year of permanent competitive service in a title allocated to Grade 9 or higher may qualify for transfer pursuant to Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. In addition, keyboarding proficiency is a minimum requirement of this position. If you have not previously held a keyboarding position, you must demonstrate that you possess the requisite keyboarding skills. |
