Duties/ Responsibilities |
Successful candidate must have experience working with a diverse group of individuals. The incumbent will be assigned on a daily basis to work with various classroom instructors. Incumbent will assist, train and supervise developmentally disabled individuals in developing skills as outlined in prescribed treatment plans. Data collection and other record-keeping is required. The incumbent will have contact with family members, neighbors, community vendors and service. |

Minimum/Preferred Qualifications |
Must be currently serving in the title of Developmental Aide with the Office of Mental Retardation Developmental Disabilities. |

Additional Comments |
Current AMAP, SCIP, First Aid, and CPR Certifications are preferred. A valid Driver’s License is required. Successful candidates must be able to work with non-ambulatory consumers. Heavy lifting is often considered in the selection, process. Experience working with aggressive consumers with behavior problems is also preferred. |
