Minimum Qualifications At least one college course in GIS and an independent study utilizing GIS or GIS certification/certificate, or 1 year of professional experience using GIS to perform job duties. Preferred qualifications: proficiency in ModelBuilder, Python, Excel, and relational databases. Experience using, building, or maintaining ArcGIS Online based applications.
Duties Description Duties include creating, entering and maintaining data within existing databases and GIS feature classes, querying datasets, generating data reports, plotting coordinates, generating maps, automating and documenting workflows, and other tasks as assigned. Datasets include but are not limited to: lake and river fisheries regulatory and recreation information, public fishing access, and hydrography.
Additional Comments Telecommuting may be available, will be discussed at interview.
This is a seasonal, hourly appointment with an anticipated end date of 3/31/2025. Program needs and finding will determine actual termination date.
