Minimum Qualifications Administrative Assistant 1: Must be in title or on the Civil Service eligible list for this location or be eligible for transfer Candidates must be reachable on the Civil Service eligible list for Secretary 1, Grade 11. OR

Traineeship Requirements: As an Administrative Assistant Trainee 1 and 2, you would participate in a two-year traineeship. Trainees will be required to take four mandatory core administrative support courses in the first year of the traineeship and four elective administrative support courses in the second year of the traineeship. Elective coursework should be appropriate for the work performed in the position and requires agency approval. The mandatory and elective courses are in the following four administrative support competency areas: Computer Skills and Technology; Interpersonal and Customer Relations; Professionalism and Self-Management; and Verbal and Written Communication. At the successful conclusion of the traineeship, trainees are advanced without further examination to Administrative Assistant 1, SG-11.

NOTE: Candidate who have not previously served in a keyboarding title must demonstrate adequate keyboarding skills (e.g., the ability to type 30 words per minute with at least 96 percent accuracy) by passing the Keyboard Performance Test.

Duties Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Regional Field Office 4 is seeking an Administrative Assistant 1 for the Quality Management and Technical Assistance Unit (QMTA). The incumbent will serve in an administrative support role for the unit.

Responsibilities

o Assist with tracking/monitoring of fair hearing requests including providing information to counsel's fair hearing unit and following up with RFO units as necessary

o Assist with tracking/monitoring of administrative hearings including scheduling, collecting documentation, and coordinating

o Assist with the tracking and follow up of litigation requests including monitoring deadlines and deliverables, requests for reports and documentation, and providing additional materials upon request

o Assist with the tracking of QRT service approvals and providing information re: outcomes as requested by leadership.

o Assist the data specialist with producing monthly management indicator reports.

o Assist with High Needs Funding tracking

o Assist with MOLST (end of life decision-making) tracking

o Assist with QRT tracking

o Assist with records retention including monitoring deadlines and deliverables, requests for reports and documentation, and providing additional materials upon request

o Assist with managing Regional Field Office records

o Perform other tasks and duties as assigned related to RFO needs.
