Job Specifics
Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or Business Administration or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the areas of Litigation Support/Technology or Project Planning and Management; or an Associate’s degree in Public or Business Administration or a related field and five (5) years of experience as outlined above.
• Well-organized, mission-focused professional who exhibits in their body of work a commitment to integrity and results-based performance.
• Comfortable working in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment; leading and proactively managing work streams.
• Strong skill sets in the following areas: Litigation Support/ Technology; Project Planning and Management; critical thinking; crisp verbal and written communication skills.
Duties Description The Investigative Analyst – Strategic Planning, reporting to the Chief Enforcement Counsel, is responsible for performing a variety of assigned duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
• Conducting comprehensive reviews of document retention and disposal policies of the Board of Elections. Advising the Chief Enforcement Counsel of results with detailed recommendations. Developing policies for the storage of electronic filings and response to subpoenaed documents.
• Developing the methodology for identifying the content and accessibility of the Board of Elections Rules, Regulations, statutes, and Board Opinions and policies.
• Assisting the Associate Counsel, Investigators and Investigative Auditors in developing strategies to obtain records from candidates, committees or their legal representatives, and third parties. Executing plans for data collection and preservation of evidence.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of campaign finance, voter fraud detection and enforcement projects.
• Conducting a comprehensive review of the Board of Elections electronic filing system of reports by candidates/committees.
• Developing training materials and training Division and Board staff regarding electronic discovery.
• Assisting in the development of policy recommendations in the area of process and procedure development and project planning
• Assisting on all tasks and matters as may reasonably be assigned by and through the Chief Enforcement Counsel.
