Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Permanent status as an Addictions Planning Analyst 2 (G-23) and interested in reassignment; OR reachable for permanent appointment on the current Civil Service eligible list for Addictions Planning Analyst 2; OR eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law (i.e., Addictions Program Specialist 2).

Duties Description The Addictions Planning Analyst (APA2) will be expected to provide technical asistance to a minimum of four Recovery Community and Outreach Centers (RCOC) in the NYC/LI regions and assist a minimum of 50 outpatient (OP) and opioid treatment programs (OTPs) to implement and integrate the utilization of Certified Recovery Peer Advocates (CRPAs). The APA2 will collaborate with and facilitate presentations at a minimum of 50 stakeholder groups/coalitions throughout the NYC/LI regions and provide assistance to at least 10 communities on how to conduct needs assessments relative to unmet recovery support needs.
