Minimum Qualifications Permanent Qualifications: Candidates must currently be a permanent Treatment Team Leader-DD OR be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list
OR
Transfer Qualifications: Candidate must be eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 or 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.
Some of the eligible titles include: Chief Occupational Therapist, Chief of Forensics Unit 1, Chief Physical Therapist, Chief Recreation Therapist, Licensed Psychologist, Mental Hygiene Nursing Program Coordinator, Principal Psychologist, Social Worker Supervisor 1, Speech, Language Pathology Audiology Program Coordinator 2, Supervisor Rehab Services

Duties Description The Treatment Team Leader in State Operations Office 4 – is responsible for ensuring that appropriate, timely and quality services are provided and that these services meet all applicable standards and guidelines. The Treatment Team Leader is essential to the safe operation of the sites, compliance with State policies and regulations. Treatment Team Leaders are expected to remain current in all OPWDD initiatives and implementation of the OPWDD transitional agenda for services, new training and quality initiatives.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties shall include, but not be limited to:
• Program design, development and implementation
• Monitoring and supervision of clinical programs and documentation
• Monitoring of scheduling and overtime; supervision of clinical and direct care staff
• Ensures that staff perform all necessary duties as described.
• Conducting investigations of incidents.
• Ensures that all residential habilitation plans are implemented as written data is recorded as required
• Moves toward HCBS Waiver throughout the team
Participation of Administrator on Call (AOC) system is required. Off hour visits to all sites are required.

Additional Comments : Travel within the five-county catchment area will be required in the performance of the duties of the position. This may include a state-owned vehicle, as available, or the employee’s own car. An employee who uses his/her own car will be reimbursed at current negotiated rates.
