Master's degree in related field or discipline.
Experience teaching at the college level.
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the aforementioned minimum qualifications, it is preferred the candidate also have:
Doctorate degree in a related field or discipline
Work experience in the Human Resource field
Duties Description SUNY Cobleskill is seeking qualified candidates to teach 8-week section of BADM 310 Human Resource Management, August 28 - October 18. This course is designed to analyze the problems, strategies and procedures in managing and assessing human resources in contemporary organizations. Special attention given to: problems in assessing abilities and performance, effective recruitment, selection and training, motivational strategies and developing the organization's human resources. Emphasis is placed on such topics as Equal Employment Opportunity, ethics, organizational development/teamwork and Total Quality Management.
Additional Comments This course is scheduled to be taught on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. from August 28, 2018 - October 18, 2018.
This is a part-time, temporary position.
The salary for this position is $3000 per 3 credit class.
This course is being taught at Hudson Valley Community College's campus in Troy, NY.
