Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Permanent status as an Addictions Program Specialist 2, G-23 and interested in reassignment ~OR~ Reachable for permanent appointment on the current Civil Service eligible list for Addictions Program Specialist 2, G-23 ~OR~ Eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Log complaints received and maintain a tracking system to monitor status of all complaint cases. Under the supervision of the Confidential Investigator, gather data and conduct fact-finding interviews to help assess complaints received and prepare investigative plans and conduct investigations of complaint cases. Assist in handling telephone inquiries, manage active cases, transcribe recorded interviews and prepare summaries of information gathered. Assist in the preparation of investigative reports and summaries to be forwarded to the Credentialing Unit, Counsel’s Office, Credential’s Board and/or hearing officials.
