Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Eligible for a lateral transfer or eligible for a 70.1 transfer by having one year of permanent, competitive service in an appropriate title;

NOTE: Candidates who are currently on the eligible list for the Office Assistant 2 in New York need not submit an application for this posting unless they are applying directly as a result of the transfer qualifications listed above.

Duties Description Duties of the position will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

• Assist with typing inspection reports, addendums, and monthly reports;
• Enter data into a shared tracking data base;
• Act as office receptionist;
• Answer incoming phone calls and take messages;
• Copy/duplicate written materials;
• Process purchase orders for supplies;
• Type correspondence for staff;
• Log mail for MRO office;
• Fax/Copy/Scan materials as needed.

Additional Comments You must be a current NYS employee to apply for this position. A full time, permanent appointment will be made. If certified by Civil Service, mandatory reemployment list candidates must be considered first for appointment to this title.

This position includes $3026 in location pay.
