Job Specifics
Minimum Qualifications Five years of experience in large scale cooking, two years of which must have included regular supervision of subordinate employees or working inmates (large scale is approximately 200 meals per day).
Duties Description Supervision of food preparation and cooking in a large institution kitchen; determine the amount of food to be prepared according to the planned menu; requisition food supplies; inspect kitchen areas to insure preparation, utilization, cooking and sanitary procedures are observed; kitchen staff training as necessary and perform food preparation and cooking activities. Additional duties will be discussed in detail at the interview
