Minimum Qualifications Open Competitive: Licensed and currently registered to practice psychology in New York State Transfer Opportunity: One year permanent competitive service as a Licensed Psychologist or eligible for a 70.1 transfer. Promotional Opportunity: Licensed and currently registered to practice psychology in New York State; AND one year permanent competitive service as an Associate Psychologist or Psychologist 2.

Duties Description The Office of Children & Family Services (OCFS) is seeking an experienced licensed psychologist to guide OCFS practices with regard to provision of treatment services and support for adolescents with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Incumbent will be responsible for reviewing and oversight of the development and/or revision of current psychological assessments of youth to determine if assessments reflect the needs of disabled youth; review and revise treatment plans to accommodate the needs of disabled youth, and train clinical and facility staff in providing services and support which reflect the specific needs of the youth; design and application of behavioral technology and other appropriate specialized psychological interventions. Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
