Minimum Qualifications One year of permanent competitive service in a position at the SG-16 level or above designated administrative pursuant to Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description Under the direction of the Associate Training Technician, the incumbent will be responsible for performing a variety of technical and administrative duties in support of the State Preparedness Training Center (STPC) training functions. This will include, but not limited to: facilitating; implementing; coordinating and administering training courses for both residential (on-site) and mobile (off-site). Additionally, the incumbent will serve as the SPTC point-of-contact for the use of SPTC training venues by outside agencies, coordinate logistical support and resources, and prepare necessary correspondence, reports and evaluations relating to SPTC operations. The incumbent is expected to fully understand, master and operate SPTC special effects systems and equipment. The incumbent may be reassigned to other program areas within the SPTC as required by organizational needs and be assigned other duties consistent with such program areas.
