Minimum Qualifications Permanent service as a Senior Attorney, SG-25, or one year of permanent service in a title SG-23 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer.

Candidate must also be admitted to the New York State Bar and have current registration to practice law in New York State.

Duties Description The Senior Attorney will coordinate handling of legal issues pertaining to the agency’s procurement activities and the Procurement Stewardship Act; provide legal advice and guidance to agency managers and staff regarding procurement matters; draft and/or review procurement solicitation documents; negotiate procurement contracts; serve as liaison between the Office of Legal Services and the Finance Office; and supervise subordinate staff as directed.
