Minimum Qualifications The ideal candidate is enthusiastic to work in a team environment. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and Concordance is a must, as is the ability to learn new computer applications. Prior experience with multiple eDiscovery platforms is preferred.

Duties Description The Office of the New York State Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU) is seeking an IT Support Specialist for its Electronic Investigative Support Group (EISG) based in Rensselaer. The mission of MFCU is to investigate, prosecute and bring affirmative civil cases against individuals and corporate entities responsible for improper or fraudulent Medicaid billing schemes, as well as to investigate and prosecute allegations of abuse and neglect of residents in nursing homes and other residential healthcare facilities.

SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Support applications specific to eDiscovery.
• Load data from outside entities into various eDiscovery platforms.
• Support various office applications specific to case management.
• Troubleshoot problems with software applications and handle service calls to vendors.
• Research and recommend different eDiscovery solutions as staff needs change.
• Apply software and license updates to case management and eDiscovery applications.
• Support Regional Office staff with eDiscovery requests and case management
assistance.
• Handle confidential correspondence and data.
• Correspond and deal directly with other State agencies and outside entities.
• Order supplies and manage vendor accounts.
• Maintain office records, equipment inventory; carry out data entry.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
