Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications for Permanent Appointment:
•Currently serving as a Licensed Psychologist and eligible for transfer
OR
•Must be licensed and currently registered to practice psychology in New York State and reachable on the civil service list for Licensed Psychologist
OR
•One year of permanent, competitive service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the NYS Civil Service Law.

Duties Description A Licensed Psychologist will fulfill the following needs:

• Supervise behavioral support plan development and plan monitoring
• Close supervision of the development of plans that include restrictive or intrusive measures (regulations specifically require a licensed psychologist to perform this function)
• Membership of Behavior Plan/ Human Rights Committee
• Evaluate Capacity for Informed Consent and DNRs
• Informed Consent Committee
• Perform Risk Assessments
• Emergency Review of Rights Limitations
