Minimum Qualifications Two years of full time military experience and a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma AND must meet physical and medical standards established for this title, as determined by a strength, agility, and endurance test, and a medical examination.

Satisfactory completion of the probation period must include possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle legally in New York State.

In addition to the above: attained the rank of E5 or higher, or Staff Sergeant (E6) OR one year of full time experience in the supervision of court adjudicated youth in a residential program

Duties Description Supervise court adjudicated youth (cadets) in a military style rehabilitation program.

Organize, arrange, supervise, and participate in various recreational, educational and social activities.

Mentor, supervise and/or assist youth during various daily living assignments.

Participate in daily physical training regiment with cadets.


Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
