Minimum Qualifications Reassignment - Currently in the title of Assistant Office Services Manager and an employee of DEC
or
Reinstatement Eligible - Previously held the title on a permanent competitive basis or held a title as indicated under the transfer eligible section on a permanent competitive basis.
or
Transfer Eligible - One year of permanent competitive service at Salary Grade 16 or higher AND EITHER:
Eligible for transfer under Section 52.6: Must have current or prior permanent service in a title designated as 52.6 and within two salary grades of this position. Determination of titles that are 52.6 eligible can be found on the Department of Civil Service website, search "GOT-IT"
or
Eligible for transfer under Section 70.1: Permanent competitive service as a Chief Clerk or Assistant Office Services Manager.

Duties Description Assist in the direction of the Bureau of Office Services, which includes, but not limited to the following:
Act on behalf of the Office Services Manager on an as needed basis for both regular and extraordinary duties including representation at meetings and response to emergency situations.
Act as direct supervisor for central office functions related to Property Management.
Serve as Central Office ID Coordinator.
Oversight of Central Office Mail Room and Print Shop.
Assist Office Services Manager as DEC liaison in lease negotiations with OGS staff, for regional leases, including on-site inspections for leased facilities. Assist Office Services Manager as DEC liaison with OGS and landlords in the resolution of issues related to the use of leased space.
Space Planning and Allocation - Under the direction of the Office Services Manager, assist in the development of space allocations for DEC regional facilities, comprising over 100 leased and owned locations.
Various administrative duties as needed in the Bureau.
