Minimum Qualifications APPLICANTS MUST BE A CURRENT NYS EMPLOYEE and have permanent status as an Agency Labor Relations Representative 2, M-1, and qualified for transfer ~OR~ Reachable for permanent appointment on the current Civil Service eligible list for Agency Labor Relations Representative 1 ~OR~ Eligible for to transfer pursuant to Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description The Agency Labor Relations Representative 2 will serve as the Director of Labor Relations for OASAS. The incumbent will directly administer, manage and carry out Labor Management and Labor Relations functions; investigate workplace violence complaints; carry out the provision of services to assigned facility and administrative work locations; interact with union officials and the Governor’s Office of Employee Relations liaisons; represent OASAS at various labor relations functions, such as disciplinary arbitrations, grievance and disciplinary reviews; conduct performance evaluation appeals; investigate possible employee misconduct; and provide support to OASAS Executive Team, managers and supervisors in labor/management activities. Travel required.
