Minimum Qualifications 52.6 Transfer: One year of permanent competitive service in a title SG-21 and above designated administrative under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.
Duties Description Under the direction of a Principal Staffing Services Representative, the incumbent is responsible for supervising subordinate level professional staff in the following activities: examination planning, development and implementation; candidate recruitment; consultation of diversifying the workforce; payroll transaction review and processing ; and interpretation of Civil Service Law, Rules, and Regulations and policies. Client agencies may include one or more of the following: State Education Department, Workers’ Compensation Board, Public Service Commission, and accounting/auditing titles. The incumbent will interact with a variety of clientele, including but not limited to: personnel and program representatives of client agencies; current and former State employees; job seekers; employee organizations; community organizations; the Legislature; and the Executive Chamber. The incumbent has responsibility for unit planning; and developing, supervising and training Senior Staffing Services Representatives and Trainees.
