Minimum Qualifications 30 semester credit hours, including 12 semester credit hours in fisheries, marine resources or wildlife management; mariculture; marine biology; aquaculture; aquatic, marine or terrestrial ecology; zoology; marine technology; botany; limnology; hydrology; or oceanography.
Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License.
Duties Description Daily supervision of several Farmhands, oversee the daily care associated with brooders, incubation and hatching, and raising thousands of young pheasants. Detailed record keeping, assist with production planning, year-round care of breeder flocks, technical equipment operation and maintenance.
Additional Comments Seasonal, hourly appointment ending no later than 3/31/16. Program needs will determine actual termination date, which may be prior to 3/31/16. Actual work schedule, duties and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at interview.
Anticipated hourly rate will be $15.41 pending approval.
