Minimum Qualifications 30 semester credit hours, including 12 semester credit hours in fisheries, marine resources or wildlife management; mariculture; marine biology; aquaculture; aquatic, marine or terrestrial ecology; zoology; marine technology; botany; limnology; hydrology; or oceanography.
Duties Description Assist in the collection of fish samples from lakes used for monitoring mercury and other contaminants. Assist in PISCES contaminant trackdown studies. Help culture and maintain stocks of test organisms. Assist in field and lab toxicity tests as needed.
Additional Comments Seasonal, hourly appointment ending no later than 11/30/15. Program needs will determine actual termination date, which may be prior to 11/30/15.
Actual work schedule, duties and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at interview.
Anticipated hourly rate will be $15.41 pending approval.
