Minimum Qualifications 30 semester credit hours, including 12 semester credit hours in fisheries, marine resources or wildlife management; mariculture; marine biology; aquaculture; aquatic, marine or terrestrial ecology; zoology; marine technology; botany; limnology; hydrology; or oceanography.
Duties Description Survey anglers at both the Harlem Meer and Central Park Lake about fishing activity and views on fisheries issues, in accordance with DEC Fisheries Bureau methods. This job is based outdoors and requires walking. WEEKEND WORK IS REQUIRED.
Additional Comments Seasonal, hourly appointment ending no later than 11/30/15. Program needs will determine actual termination date, which may be prior to 11/30/15. Actual work schedule, duties and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at interview.
Anticipated hourly rate will be $15.41 pending approval.
