Duties Description Candidate must have good work ethics that include respect for confidentially as part of a professional profile; must have outstanding of technical skills, including complete fluency in Word and Excel programs, and excellent organizational skills; must demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times in dealing with other staff as well as external contacts in person, by phone and by e-mail; and must complete all assigned work related job tasks and responsibilities through to completion at a professional standard of performance.

The following is a list of some of the job responsibilities:

Answer telephone for the Affirmative Action Office and communicate messages accurately and consistently.
Copy and scan documents; use those documents to create physical and electronic files.
Scheduling meetings, including the coordination of participant schedules, reservation of conference room(s), and all related tasks.
Pick-up daily mail twice from Mailroom.
Word Processing-input and editing; proofreading as necessary.
Prepare forms relative to mailing registered and certified mail.
Develop and maintain an excel spreadsheet or other mechanism to track cases.
Draft statistical reports regarding work load based upon information culled from different sources.
Order supplies for the Affirmative Action Office/staff.
Make travel arrangement as necessary and prepare related expense reports.
Complete assignments at the request of the Affirmative Action Officer.
Work cooperatively with the Affirmative Action staff as necessary to achieve established goals.
