Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have:
Either 1. At least 12 college semester credit hours in a computer-related field such as Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or Computer Information Systems;
Or 2. Any combination of experience and training totaling six months in the operation of a mainframe or medium to-large server. Use or operation of personal computers, including the use of personal computers as dumb terminals connected to a mainframe or the use of word processing equipment will NOT be considered qualifying.
Experience must have been satisfactory and the equivalent of full time.
Training courses must have been successfully completed. If you are using training courses to qualify for all or part of the six-month requirement, you must submit evidence of satisfactory completion with your resume.
Duties Description • One-on-one training, advanced troubleshooting and web page creation and review in DEC’s Web Content Management System
• Computer support for division
• Managing broken link report for DEC’s public website
• Creating maps and KMLs for DEC’s public website
• You may be required to move or lift equipment and supplies
Skills/Software Preferred: HTML, CSS, Word, ArcGIS, Adobe Acrobat, along with Installation and troubleshooting of windows-based PCs.
