Requirements For Appointment At Each Level:
For Teacher 2: New York State provisional/initial/conditional initial certification in the appropriate specialty;
For Teacher 3: New York State permanent/professional certification in the appropriate specialty;
For Teacher 4: New York State permanent/professional certification in the appropriate specialty and two years of post-certification (conditional initial/provisional/initial or permanent/professional) teaching experience in that same specialty.
Duties Description Teachers utilize professional training and experience to plan sellons and curriculums and instruct and evaluate the performance and progress of clients who are in the charge of a state agency in academic and commercial subjects.
Additional Comments Requirements for continued employment: Possession of a permanent/professional or provisional/initial/conditional inital NYS certificate in the appropriate specialty is necessary for continued employment. Loss of certification will result in termination of employment.
