Minimum Qualifications Open Competitive: Licensed and currently registered to practice Psychology issued by the NYS Department of Education.
Promotion: Licensed and currently registered to practice Psychology issued by the NYS Department of Education AND one year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service as an Associate Psychologist or Psychologist 2.

Duties Description Provide clinical leadership for the 16-17 year old program. Education component: Go through code 40 list and review for potential special education. Conduct Psych education evaluations. Access social education history. Administer WAIS IV Woodcock-Johnson test. Review TABE scores and work closely with Education Supervisor. Contact previous school for prior Special Ed. Use DSM IV. Classify for Special Ed. program (IEP) goals objective. Chairperson for Committee for Special Education. Will make parental contact for meetings. Make vocational referrals if necessary.
