The Program Aide duties in Corporations State Records & Uniform Commercial Codes will include but are not limited to the following:
• Consult with supervisors of Corporations, State Records and UCC to gather and compile weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly data of all statistic and revenue reports for the Division and Executive Office.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly narrative reports for the Division and Executive Office.
• Assist division director with any office related matters.
• Assist in the preparation of any request from the Governor's Office.
• Develop tabulations of division data.
• Prepare and edit draft correspondence and other documents.
• Create and update monthly division organization chart.
• Assist in reviewing and designing division forms - including ITS.
• Assist in reviewing and revising division procedures manuals.
• Track and maintain division calendar (vacation - time off, etc.)
• Prepare tables, charts and reports to describe each analytical method.
• Remind supervisors of monthly/quarterly stats by providing updated forms for such information.
• Answer phone calls and provide information pertaining to the business of the division.
• Respond to national and international email.
• Assist supervisors/staff whenever necessary.
• Assist staff attorneys whenever necessary.
• Track and bill Lexis/Nexis on a monthly basis regarding Federal Tax liens.
• Type confidential correspondence for the division and cemeteries.
• Any other office related matters that may be routinely assigned.
• Work independently on all of the above.
Minimum Qualifications COMPETITIVE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Permanent service in this title or one year of permanent competitive or 55-B/C service in a clerical, keyboarding, secretarial, or paraprofessional title allocated to Grade 6 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer under Civil Service Law.

You must meet the minimum qualifications from the most recent examination announcement. One year of permanent, contingent permanent, or 55 B/C service in an office assistant, clerical, keyboarding, or paraprofessional*** title allocated to Grade 6 or higher.

***Only paraprofessional titles in an office environment will be considered qualifying. Service in a direct care title is NOT qualifying. Examples of NON-qualifying titles are: Developmental Disabilities Secure Care Treatment Aide 1, Direct Support Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Mental Health Therapy Aide, and Security Services Assistant.

For new State employees appointed to graded positions, the annual salary is the hiring rate (beginning of the Salary Range) of the position. Promotion salaries are calculated by the NYS Office of the State Comptroller in accordance with NYS Civil Service Law, OSC Payroll rules and regulations and negotiated union contracts.
