Minimum Qualifications Permanent status as an Addictions Program Specialist 1, G-18 and interested in reassignment; OR reachable for permanent appointment on the current Civil Service eligible list for Addictions Program Specialist 1, G-18 or the Addictions Program Specialist Trainee eligible list; OR eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law (i.e., Addictions Planning Analyst 1, Addictions Counselor 1). OR eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law (i.e., MH Program Specialist, Program Operations Specialist and Standards Compliance Analyst)

Duties Description The incumbent will work in the Albany Housing Unit and will be responsible for having a full understanding of housing related federal, state, and local regulations and requirements; managing a housing portfolio, conducting annual site-visits, providing technical assistance; developing housing reports, assisting in the planning and coordination of OASAS’ Housing Quarterly Meetings; completing Annual Progress Reports, assisting in annual contract renewals, and promoting the agency’s housing programs within OASAS’ Recovery Oriented System of Care. Travel is required.

Additional Comments Salary Range: Addictions Program Specialist Trainee 1, NS, is $39,713 - $50,814; Salary Range: Addictions Program Specialist Trainee 2, NS, is $41,993 - $53,606.
