Eligible for transfer under Section 70.1: Permanent competitive service as an Agency Program Aide, Accountant Aide, Administrative Aide, Environmental Conservation Program Aide, Keyboard Specialist 3, Principal Mail and Supply Clerk, Secretary 1. Also any language parenthetic for the above titles. Additional titles which qualify can be found on the Department of Civil Service website, search "GOT-IT".

Duties Description -Assist staff with expense accounts.
-Track and process purchasing, pay invoices, encumber funds, etc. for several bureaus within Operations.
-Verify and approve cancellations of Recreation reservations, refunds, reimbursements and any corrections. Each Reserve America payment is also tracked for the correct fees and payment method (cash, check, credit card or gift card). Following the transactions and understanding the circumstance that influence and create changes in fees that affect reservations and the different fee schedules charged for the various services.
-Assist in preparing Specifications for bid, including preparing and assembling word documents, publishing final spec documents, preparing and issuing addendums.
-Placing advertisements with Legal Ads and Contract Reporter.
-Generating contract award correspondence, following up with Contractors to get submittals (contract agreements, insurance, bonds, payment breakdowns, subcontractor lists, etc.).
-Executing online searches of Contractor Responsibility and review material for prime and subcontracts.
-Preparing and assembling procurement packages and contract documents for approval, both pre and post-bid. Tracking internal approval status.
-Learn contract payment process so payments can be executed daily. Track payment status.
-Assist in preparation of change orders and tracking of approval process.
-Assist with Consultant Work Order approval packages for DASNY and OGS.
-Assistance in MMS data entry and administrative backup.
-Assist in providing support service to DEC employees at 625 Broadway (employee ID’s, parking, etc.)
-Communication and relationship building between central office, regional and campground staff.
-Other duties as assigned.
