Minimum Qualifications One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service as a Keyboard Specialist 1 or eligible for transfer via Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law.

Duties Description Type correspondence, documents, records, and other written material.

Use software packages, such as word processing, spreadsheet, data base management, e-mail, etc.

Review work to ensure conformance with accepted office practices.

Proofread and correct work to produce accurate copy.

Distribute incoming mail.

Maintain files.

Answer phones and handle routine questions or issues.

Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
