Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be physically able to perform the duties assigned. Possession of a valid New York State driver’s license may be required.

Duties Description Maintain buildings and grounds located at the State Preparedness Training Center:
• Clean and maintain buildings.
• Clean grounds, roadways, and structures by sweeping, raking, shoveling, mowing, and removing by hand debris, leaves, branches, snow, ice, trash, etc.
• Install and maintain fences, guide rails, signs, walkways, and snow fencing.
• Maintain machinery, equipment, gears, cables, and tools.
• Make minor repairs to buildings and structures.
• Sets up and break down equipment for special events.
• Pick up and deliver supplies and equipment.
• Assemble modular furniture.
• Set up for office moves, conferences, meetings and special events.
• Assist in the receiving and shipping of various office materials.

Additional Comments This is an eight hour shift; the incumbent may be required to work weekends, holidays, and alternate/extended shifts on short notice in emergency situations.
1 position: 4 p.m. – 12 a.m.
1 position: 6 a.m. – 2 p.m.
