Minimum Qualifications This is a transfer opportunity for a current State employee with permanent service as a Principal Clerk.
OR

One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service as a clerical, secretarial or paraprofessional title at salary grade 12 or above and meet transfer eligibility requirements.
A comprehensive list of titles approved for transfer to Principal Clerk is available for review in the Division of Human Resources Management.
Duties Description Duties include but are not limited to:
• Monitor and reconcile monthly performance reports from the eight regional food banks.
• Process administrative claim forms.
• Work closely with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) on food offerings.
• Ensure each food bank is utilizing their USDA funds.
• Responsible for food bank, food pantry and soup kitchen annual reviews as required by USDA regulations.
• Responsible for physical inventories of the eight food banks. This will include extensive travel over the summer months along with mid-year reviews in the winter as necessary.
• Responsible for administrative and clerical processes for the Special Milk Program.
• Support the functions of the School Lunch Program;
• Supervise clerical staff.
• Perform various duties as deemed necessary.
Additional Comments This position requires some travel.
