Salary RangeFrom $37253 to $45660 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Eligible for a lateral transfer or eligible for a 70.1 transfer by having one year of permanent competitive service in an appropriate title;
OR
ELIGIBLE LIST: Candidates must be reachable on the current eligible list for the Secretary 1 in Albany.
Note: Candidates who are currently on the eligible list for the Secretary 1 in Albany need not submit an application for this posting unless they are applying directly as a result of the transfer qualifications listed above.
Duties Description Duties of this position will include, but not be limited to the following:
• Track incoming and outgoing correspondence;
• Coordinate and schedule meetings;
• Handle telephone calls;
• Oversee correspondence clearance processes;
• Prepare correspondence for signature;
• Travel liaison for the Center;
• Provide office coverage when needed;
• Perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the Center's Operation
Additional Comments A full-time, permanent appointment will be made. You must be a current NYS employee to be eligible for this position. If certified by Civil Service, mandatory reemployment list candidates must be considered first for appointment to this title.
