Minimum Qualifications Must be qualified employee of New York State and have had permanent competitive or 55b/c service as follows: One year as a Dentist 2 or two years as a Dentist 1.

Duties Description Provide professional dental care for clients by diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries and malformations of teeth and gums, care for acute dental conditions referred by staff dentists. Function as a general dental practitioner and administer facility dental programs. Administrative activities may include employee counseling, consulting on acute dental conditions referred by subordinate dentists, coordinating dental services with other clinical specialties; training staff; preparing budgets, and ordering and maintaining dental equipment and supplies.

Additional Comments There will be a written test which you must pass when offered in order to be considered for appointment. The written test is designed to test for knowledge, skills, and/or abilities.
