Minimum Qualifications Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree AND meet one of the following conditions:

1. A veteran who served on active duty for over 180 days for purposes other than training and received a discharge other than dishonorable; OR
2. The spouse of a person who died of service-connected disabilities, the spouse of certain active duty individuals forcibly detained or listed as missing in action or the spouse of a 100% disabled veteran; OR
3. A member of a reserve component under an order to active duty during a period of war or in campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge is authorized and received a discharge other than dishonorable.

Duties Description Incumbent will conduct outreach to businesses and engage in advocacy efforts with hiring executives to increase employment opportunities for veterans; encourage the hiring of disabled veterans, and generally assist veterans to gain and retain employment.

The duties assigned to LVER staff members will promote to businesses, business associations, and business groups the advantages of hiring veterans. LVER staff members will advocate for all veterans served by the Career Centers and ensure easier access to appropriate employment and training services for job seeking veterans in their local labor market areas.

Additional Comments Our workweek consists of 37.5 hours. As an hourly employee you may be eligible for health insurance including prescription, dental and vision coverage.
