Minimum Qualifications Four years of full-time experience in a trade under a skilled journey-level position which would provide training equivalent to that given in an apprenticeship program. Apprentice training in a trade or training gained by the completion of technical courses in a trade at a school or institute may be substituted for the above experience on a year-for-year basis.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
Must have a CDL Class A License or obtain one within 6 months of appointment.
Will be required to operate heavy equipment.
Basic carpentry and electric skills preferred.

Duties Description Repair and maintain buildings and other structures. Operate and complete routine maintenance on various pieces of construction equipment. Supervise and assign jobs for crews and oversee the work being done by contractors. Purchase supplies and materials in accordance with department policy and procedure. Fill out daily reports. Operate heavy equipment.

Additional Comments Overnight travel may be required for state sponsored activities.
