Minimum Qualifications Must be currently employed by a New York State Agency with permanent or contingent-permanent service as an Agency Program Aide, SG-13, OR a NYS employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent service in a title equated to SG-11 or higher deemed eligible for transfer to Agency Program Aide, SG-13, under Section 70.1 of the NYS Civil Service Law.

Duties Description Under the general direction of the Director of Staff Development and Training, the Agency Program Aide will be responsible for the following activities: maintaining learning histories and tracking system (SLMS); maintaining training database; preparing and editing draft announcements and other documents; assisting staff to select and complete forms and other enrollment information; assisting in the preparation, review, evaluation and analysis of training reports and records; preparing monthly, yearly and other ad hoc reports and memoranda as needed by the Bureau; documenting Bureau procedures and policies; and assisting Bureau staff with preparation of rooms and equipment.
