Minimum Qualifications Senior Personnel Administrator, SG-18: or in a title eligible for a 52.6 transfer.

Personnel Administrator Trainee, NS: reachable on the Department of Civil Service’s PATT eligible list (Department of Law employees only); reachable on the PCO or; eligible for a 52.6, 70.1 or 70.4 transfer; or 55-b/c eligible with a Bachelor’s Degree.

Duties Description Under the Direction of the Director of Labor Relations:

• Advise staff in the application of contract provisions, policies, guidelines and applicable laws concerning discipline, grievance procedures and attendance and leave matters.

• Participate in investigations and write investigative summaries.

• Interview employees and supervisors to resolve grievances.

• Make recommendations to managers regarding counseling and progressive discipline.

• Draft correspondence, agency responses and Notices of Discipline for review.

• Participate in statewide Labor/Management Committee meetings.

• Assist in administration of Agency Probationary Program.

• Confer with the Governor's Office of Employee Relations and other control agencies as needed.

• Regular travel is required.

• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
