Salary RangeFrom $46697 to $56567 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Interested candidates must be reachable on the Secretary 2 eligible list or eligible to transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
70.1 Transfer:
Individual must have one year of permanent competitive service in a qualifying title allocated to a grade 13 or higher. If the candidate is not currently incumbering, or has not previously held a keyboard or secretarial title, the candidate will have to take and pass a typing proficiency exam to qualify for transfer.
Duties Description • Administrative Support for Assistant Comptroller
- Answers and routes phone calls for SGA’s Assistant Comptroller. Responds to routine questions and refers calls to appropriate staff members.
- Maintains AC’s calendar of appointments and meetings. Prioritizes and changes schedule when needed. Keeps office filing system and maintains all necessary meeting files.
- Handles all incoming and outgoing correspondence. Also, forwards all FOIL requests and Executive Correspondence to the appropriate Director in a timely manner and forwards response to requestor (Press Office or ECU) by response due date.
- Reviews timesheets for accuracy and sends to AC for approval and processing.
- Makes travel arrangements and overnight accommodations for the AC and processes travel vouchers in a timely fashion.
- Assists as a backup to the Deputy Comptroller and Directors when needed.
• Report Tracking: Responsible for the daily flow of audit reports. This includes logging in reports, updating daily, sending drafts/finals to appropriate person for approval, advising Director when draft/final is ready to be issued, coordinate with Press Office and Web Unit for posting to the Internet. Move all final reports to Team Mate for cross-referencing when finals are issued. Updating PTS to track AC status of reports (i.e. date received, TBI).
