Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable of the appropriate Civil Service eligible list.

Candidates must have permanently served at least one year in a title designated as appropriate for transfer in accordance with Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Candidates who have not held a permanent keyboarding title will be required to pass a performance test.

Duties Description Under the direction of the Deputy General Counsel and Senior Administrative Analyst, incumbent will provide administrative support for the Litigation Division, which is within the auspices of the Office of General Counsel. Duties include, but are not limited to, providing confidential administrative support to the Deputy General Counsel, opening, logging and distributing mail, drafting responses to incoming correspondence where appropriate, filing, setting up and maintaining legal files, ordering office supplies, copying, assisting with preparation and filing of performance programs, evaluations, and probationary reports, answering telephones, responding to routine inquiries, assisting in setting up meetings, and making travel arrangements and submitting related expense vouchers in a timely manner. Incumbent must be organized and be able to perform independently.
