Minimum Qualifications Nine years of experience in project management and/or risk management. At least 3 years must have been in a management role.
Bachelor’s degree may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
Master’s degree or higher level degree may substitute for an additional year.
Preferred Skills:
•Experience in a Program Management Office (PMO) leadership role on large scale enterprise level initiatives with multiple work streams and project dependencies;
•Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred;
•Human Resources and/or Financial administration knowledge.
Duties Description Under the direction of the IES Program Director, the Program Management Lead will manage and track progress across the various projects within the program and perform a wide variety of duties related to program management, including risk management, oversight of project governance, and oversight of budget and human resources activities as they relate to the IES project. The IES will replace over 30 independent IT systems, implementing the necessary components to support streamlined business progress and integrated service delivery across the State Health and Human Services Health Services programs to achieve integrated intake, improved verification and eligibility determination; enhanced case management, collaboration, and financial accounting and management tools; integrated and electronic notification capabilities; integrated referrals; and a single data repository of all actions related to the client.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
•Establish program management standards;
•Communicate program and project-level risks and issues to leadership and reports on project task status from a schedule, scope, budget and quality perspective;
•Manage the day-to-day execution of administrative matters and PMO including: Budget, HR, Schedule, Risk, Change Control, Contract Management;
•Works closely with the Business Advisory vendor to monitor risk and address change control;
•Establish and maintain project governance processes and providing guidance to the Program Director on critical governance issues;
•Provide regular updates to the Executive Steering Committee.
