Minimum Qualifications Reachable on the Civil Service eligible list for Business Services Specialist 1 or eligible for 55b/c appointment.

Duties Description Under the supervision of a Business Services Specialist 2, or Food Services Management Specialist 2, supervise the managers of the Business Enterprise Program (BEP) facilities, small retail facilities such as news-stands, snack bars or cafeterias established by the NYS Commission for the Blind (CB), within an assigned region.

Survey new site facilities, assist facility managers with financial and operational issues, make arrangements for repairs, alterations, inventories of supplies/equipment, improve sales, etc.

Serve as OCFS liaison with host agency officials, and with CB counselors regarding vocational referrals of CB consumers to the BEP.

Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
