Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable for appointment from the appropriate Civil Service list for this title; OR
Transfer Opportunity:
One year of permanent competitive service as a Human Services Training Specialist 2 or in a title Grade 21 or above that is eligible for transfer pursuant to Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.
Provisional Qualifications:
One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service as a Human Services Training Specialist 1.
Duties Description Assist the Director in the management of day to day operations at the Academy including working with contractors and vendors;
provide on-call services for the residential component of the Academy as needed;
Supervise staff;
Develop, manage and implement training for Basic Academy Training.
Facilitate all training courses offered at the Academy, as needed, including a comprehensive CPM component.
Contribute to design development and continuous quality improvement concepts and implementation.
Monitor the performance and progress of learners and trainers through review of evaluative data.
Monitor effectiveness of existing training program and recommend/revise accordingly.
Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
Additional Comments Travel required: 25%
