Candidates holding a permanent position of Multimedia Production Program Specialist 1 may be eligible for a 70.1 transfer.

Duties Description Under the general direction of the Multimedia Production Program Specialist 2 (SG-23), the incumbent will assist in the development of the intranet used by the Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) staff and the WCB internet for external stakeholders. The incumbent will promote and insure the intranet website used by the WCB staff provides easier and faster access to information. Duties include but are not limited to: working with business units to identify content; understanding site taxonomy and how it applies to site content; ensuring content updates are done regularly; researching best practices for intranets; gathering user information electronically through usage reports, individual and group interviews and with surveys to determine user satisfaction and possible areas of revision; applying Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility standards to the website; generating and reviewing web pages using plain language and best practices; testing code updates for issues; providing ongoing support to contributors; and conferring with editors, writers, and subject matter managers to discuss project objectives, design features, format and target audience
