Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Currently be employed by New York State as a permanent or contingent permanent Dietitian 2, OR in a title eligible for 70.1 transfer, OR

2. Reachable for appointment on the Civil Service list.

Maintains current certification in New York State as a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist OR maintains current registration with the American Dietetic Association as a dietitian.

Duties Description The candidate will provide professional supervision of the preparation and delivery of food and/or clinical supervision for individuals involved in such activities in the community settings. Will supervise a small food preparation and service cluster(s) of such units. Will consult with physicians or other health care professionals on therapeutic diet programs. Will plan and supervise the preparation of diets and menu. Also, provide training to the staff as needed regarding food consistencies.
